People didn't like UP's metro rail, they must be waiting for Modi's bullet train: Akhilesh Yadav

Speaking at Panchayat AajTak, Mulayam Singh's son and former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said, "The BJP people succeeded in misleading the people of Uttar Pradesh. People did not like metro rail in UP, laptops and Samajwadi Pension Scheme. They are now waiting for bullet train. People are waiting for jobs."

Akhilesh Yadav blamed it on the misleading campaign of the BJP for the electoral loss in Uttar Pradesh. He said the Samajwadi Party talked about development, while "they (PM Modi and BJP) talked about Kabristaan and Shamshaan."

"Our glue did not work in the election. Our glue was development. Their glue was religion and nationalism. People did not understand our glue. We need to change our glue," Akhilesh Yadav said.
