Ex-Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal attacked at Golden Temple

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Sukhbir Singh Badal was attacked by a former terrorist man who opened fire at him at the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Wednesday morning. The shooter, identified as Narain Singh Chaura, was overpowered by people present on the spot and handed over to the police. 

The former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab was attacked when he was serving as a guard outside the temple entrance as part of a religious punishment. He is pronounced safe, sources said.
