As the number of coronavirus cases continue to surge in India, medical experts have stated that the plasma of corona-positive patients who have recovered can play a significant role in saving the lives other patients. India Today TV on Friday spoke to Smriti Thakkar, the first coronavirus patient from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, who volunteered to donate her plasma.
In an exclusive interview, Smriti said, "It's really worth it to help Covid-19 patients."
Another patient from the same district, Sumati Singh who also donated plasma said it was her desire to contribute in any way she could to combat the infectious virus. For more, watch the full video.
