Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has blamed Jawaharlal Nehru for the situation in Kashmir, days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi said a part of that territory wouldn't be under Pakistan's control if Sardar Patel had been India's first premier.
In a speech he made in Parliament, Modi attacked the Congress, saying the country had been suffering due to the "wrong" policies the party had pursued since independence. He said it had spent time singing paeans to one family instead of focusing on the people's welfare.
