After 3 decades, Shia community takes out Muharram procession in J&K

After a 30-year ban in Jammu and Kashmir, the Muharram procession was taken out peacefully in the Lal Chowk area of Srinagar. ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said, “A meeting of the security forces was held yesterday. We are providing 3-tier security. (The procession) is being held peacefully”.
