Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is the all india student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). One of the largest student organisations in the country, ABVP has given the nation many politicians who are now in powerful positions.

With over three million registered members as of 2016, across colleges in the country and even abroad, ABVP was formed in the year 1948. ABVP's mottto is Gyan, Sheel, Ekta which translates to knowledge, character and unity.

ABVP upholds Hindutva nationalism the way RSS does. With over 1,60,000 members across 790 campuses, ABVP managed to win student elections in prominent universities in India including the University of Delhi. The organisation's growth escalated after the Babri Masjid demolition.
