7-year-old Indian climate activist receives prestigious World Children Peace Prize 2019

In a remarkable feat, a 7-year-old child climate activist from Manipur was awarded prestigious World Children Peace Prize 2019 from Global Peace Index - Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP).

After receiving the award, seven-year-old Licypriya Kangujam said, “they recognised climate change as one of the greatest perennial challenges to international peace and security."
