5 civilians killed in firing by Pakistan troops at Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch

Five civilians have been killed and two injured when a Pakistani shell fell on their house in a ceasefire violation in Jammu's Poonch today, officials said.

Pakistan Army started unprovoked shelling at around 7:40 AM today, Defence spokesman Col. Hari said. The Pakistan army targeted civilian areas in Devta village in Mendhar's Balakote.

Mohd. Ramzan, his wife and their three sons were killed in the firing after a Pakistani shell fell on their house. Ramzan's two daughters were injured and rushed to the hospital.
