2013 Patna serial blasts case: 4 convicts get death sentence

A special NIA court today awarded capital punishment to four convicts of the 9 people who were convicted in the 2013 Patna serial blasts case. Of the remaining, 2 convicts got life imprisonment, 2 got 10 years imprisonment and one has been sentenced to 7 years in jail.

On October 27, a special NIA court convicted 9 people in the 2013 serial blasts that left six dead and scores injured at the venue in Patna during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally, who was then the chief minister of Gujarat.
