14 dead as rains trigger floods in Assam

As many as 14 people lost their lives after rains triggered floods in Assam. According to the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), the second wave of flood has hit seven districts — Dhemaji, Lakhimpur, Jorhat, Majuli, Sivasagar, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia — of the state and over 50,000 people affected till Thursday morning.
