11 members of family found dead in Delhi's Burari

The bodies of 11 members of a Delhi family were found in their home in Burari's Sant Nagar area on Sunday morning.

Ten of them were hanging from an iron-mesh in the ceiling in one room. The body of a 77-year-old woman was lying on the floor in another.

The police suspect spiritual belief may have pushed the deceased to take their own lives, as handwritten notes that mention the occult and "ways to attain salvation" have been found.
