No social distancing during second royal bath of Maha Kumbh in Uttarakhand

Haridwar in Uttarakhand witnessed a huge gathering of devotees for the second royal bath of Maha Kumbh on Monday. Even as the country faces a raging second wave of the pandemic, social distancing norms and wearing of masks were not adhered to during the mega event.

Uttarakhand currently has 7,323 active cases of Covid-19.
