Floods wreak havoc in Uttar Pradesh, throws normal life out of gear

Incessant rain for the last three days has brought massive floods in the Terai region of Uttar Pradesh. Rivers have swollen in many places, submerging half a dozen districts in the state and throwing life out of gear. Rescue operations are going on in full swing to evacuate those stranded in inundated villages.
