PM Modi offers prayers at Mata Tripura Sundari temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur, Tripura, on the first day of Navratri to inaugurate its redeveloped complex. The temple is revered as one of the 51 Shakti Peeths. The redevelopment was executed under the government's Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Heritage Augmentation Drive (PRASHAD) scheme. This project included modifications to the temple premises, new pathways, and renovated entrances. The objective of this initiative is to boost tourism in the region, which is expected to create employment and business opportunities, leading to overall socio-economic development.
