Parliament Session Live Updates: The Lok Sabha will take up the general discussion on the Union Budget for 2026-27 on Friday, as Parliament resumes deliberations on key economic and legislative priorities. The House will meet at 11 am to transact government business, beginning with Question Hour. Several Union Ministers, including those handling Health and Family Welfare, Law and Justice, External Affairs, Defence, and Ports, Shipping and Waterways, are scheduled to table official papers. From 3.30 pm onwards, the Lok Sabha will move to Private Members’ Business. A range of Private Members’ Bills are listed for introduction, including proposed Constitution Amendment Bills, changes to the Representation of the People Act, and welfare-related legislation for farmers, fishermen, students, senior citizens, women, and workers.
