DMK's reign to change hands? MK Stalin says son Udhayanidhi doing wonderful job
Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin praised Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin for effectively taking the DMK to the youth and countering narratives about the party's appeal among young voters.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has said that his son and Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin has been entrusted with taking the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam to the youth and the next generation.
“Following us, Udhayanidhi is wonderfully doing the job of taking the Party to the youth. Enemies who have constant vehemence, created a picture of whether the youth will join DMK. But Udhayanidhi has demolished all those narratives by appointing 5 lakh functionaries for the Youth Wing across the State," Stalin said.
Recalling the party’s outreach to young people, Stalin said, “In 1980, we started the Youth Wing. DMK, which was started in 1949 by youths, and we created the Youth Wing to take the party to the next generation of youths. Those who were with me then are now in several responsibilities, including Ministers, MLAs, MPs and District Secretaries. Now the work to take the Party to the youths is being done well by Udhayanidhi.”
Stalin also addressed criticism about the party’s appeal among young voters. “Enemies who have constant vehemence, created a picture of whether the youth will join the DMK. But Udhayanidhi has demolished all those narratives by appointing 5 lakh functionaries for the Youth Wing across the State,” he said.
The comments came as the DMK’s Youth Wing Conference was viewed as a show of strength against the narrative pushed by Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam that the youth are with Vijay.
