AAP leader Lucky Oberoi shot dead outside Jalandhar gurdwara

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Lucky Oberoi was shot dead in broad daylight in Jalandhar's Model Town. The incident occurred outside a Gurdwara while Oberoi was in his Thar. CCTV footage accessed by India Today shows a shooter walking up to the vehicle and firing multiple rounds at point-blank range before fleeing on a two-wheeler. Following the attack, Oberoi was rushed to a private hospital with at least five bullet injuries to his chest and head but was declared dead on arrival. The Punjab opposition, including Pratap Singh Bajwa, has hit out at the Bhagwant Mann-led government, alleging a total collapse of law and order in the state. Police have initiated a probe and are scanning exit routes to track the suspects.
