Maharashtra: BJP hits out Uddhav govt over Virar hospital fire

After 13 people were charred to death at Vijay Vallabh Covid Care Hospital in Virar, politics has now erupted over the tragic incident.

BJP attacked the Uddhav govt, claiming people are losing lives due to govt's carelessness. BJP leader Ram Kadam has slammed the Uddhav Thackeray govt for the incident and asked why the fire audit of the hospital was not done.

In the wee hours, fire broke out in the ICU ward of Vijay Vallabh Covid Care hospital in Virar. Out of the 17 patients admitted in ICU, 13 were charred to death after a fire broke out due to short circuit in Air Conditioner around 3:15 am.
