Kerala: VD Satheesan alleges phone tapping by state, centre during elections

Kerala's Leader of Opposition VD Satheesan has made a serious accusation, claiming that the central government and the Kerala state government were involved in tapping the phones of political leaders. He alleges this surveillance took place both ahead of and during the elections. According to Satishan, the phone tapping was not limited to Kerala, as leaders in Delhi also had their phones monitored. "It is very clear case that now all the leaders' phones are tapped in Delhi as well as in Trivandrum," Satishan stated. He added, "We have some information about that. So, the government is doing this thing, state government as well as the central government."
