Santosh Lad says Karnataka Congress issue will be resolved in a week or two

In a candid interview, Karnataka Labour Minister Santosh Lad addresses the intense speculation surrounding a leadership change in the state Congress government. Responding to questions about a reported rift between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM D.K. Shivkumar, Lad admits, 'It'll be wrong that if I say the confusions is not there.' While denying personal knowledge of any secret 'two-and-a-half-year' power-sharing deal, he asserts that the party High Command will resolve the matter within a week or two. Lad, a self-confessed Siddaramaiah loyalist who refers to the CM as his 'godfather', emphasises that all leaders must abide by the High Command's decision.
