In a candid interview, Karnataka Labour Minister Santosh Lad addresses the intense speculation surrounding a leadership change in the state Congress government. Responding to questions about a reported rift between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM D.K. Shivkumar, Lad admits, 'It'll be wrong that if I say the confusions is not there.' While denying personal knowledge of any secret 'two-and-a-half-year' power-sharing deal, he asserts that the party High Command will resolve the matter within a week or two. Lad, a self-confessed Siddaramaiah loyalist who refers to the CM as his 'godfather', emphasises that all leaders must abide by the High Command's decision. The Minister dismisses claims that governance is suffering, attributing the narrative to BJP propaganda, and confirms that top leaders including Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi will mediate the situation.
