BJP plans to observe black Sankranti after 3 cow attacked in Bengaluru

The BJP on Sunday announced plans to observe 'Black Sankranti' after three cows were brutally attacked by unidentified people in Bengaluru's Chamarajapet area.

Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly, R Ashoka, called the incident a reflection of a "Jihadi mindset" and warned of protests if swift action isn't taken against the perpetrators.

The incident occurred in Vinayakanagar, where three cows belonging to a local resident, Karna, were found severely injured, with their udders cut. Residents discovered the distressed cattle in a pool of blood, triggering outrage and tension in the area.

Police are investigating the matter as demands for justice grow.
