A dramatic rescue operation was carried out by the fire brigade after a father and his daughter fell into a 60-foot deep, water-filled borewell in Gujarat's Ahmedabad.
The incident took place at a Jain derasara located in Gajraj Society in the Chandlodiya area, where the family works as gardeners. According to officials, the 19-year-old daughter, Anjali, accidentally fell into the borewell. Upon learning about the incident, her father, 45-year-old Rajesh Saini, jumped into the borewell in an attempt to save her.
As the borewell was filled with water, local residents were unable to rescue them and alerted the fire brigade. A team from the Navrangpura Fire Station rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation and saved both of them.
