Nitish Kumar inaugurates first phase of Patna Metro

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated a four and a half kilometer stretch of the Patna metro, which includes three stations. The event is a last-minute effort before the Model Code of Conduct comes into effect, with the Election Commission set to announce the Bihar poll dates in the evening. The work for this first phase of the metro project began in 2019 and has taken six years to complete.
