India-EU ‘mother of all deals’ due at Delhi summit; Xi’s top general faces probe

At the India Today Editors' Roundtable conference, BJP president Amit Shah said when the party came to power, it first had to deal with the damage done by the previous UPA government in the 10 years it was in power.

When asked about the Narendra Modi government's three-year report card, Shah said if you have to measure it, then you will first have to go by what the previous government left. If it's a huge pit, then a lot of time will go in filling that pit.

The BJP president, while listing out the achievements of the Modi government, said that the current government had to spend a lot of time in repairing the damage done by its predecessor.
