The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) "obsession" with Rahul Gandhi starts with the prime minister and goes to the last cadre, Congress spokesperson Khushbu Sundar said today.
Her comments came during a discussion at the India Today Conclave South 2018 of the issue of identity politics -- specifically a recent claim about Rahul Gandhi's gotra and caste.
Former Union Minister MM Pallam Raju accused the BJP of erasing Rahul Gandhi's identity. "Right from when he entered politics, he's been saying that my caste is Indian; my religion is Indian," Raju said.
