After EU deal, is India-US trade deal a gamechanger? Big focus on India First

The Habitats Trust was founded in 2018, with the aim of supporting conservationists and organisations working to conserve lesser-known wildlife and habitats in India. With the COVID-19 pandemic reshaping our world, the need to support conservation action on the ground is stronger than ever. With that, The Habitats Trust is proud to announce the recipients of The Habitats Trust Grants 2020. This yearâs recipients of work on conserving critically endangered species like the great Indian bustard and the Kolar leaf-nosed bat; neglected habitats like grasslands in Kutch and the degraded Ayyalur forests of the Eastern Ghats, as well on issues of poaching and hunting in the forests of Chhattisgarh.
The four recipients were chosen from over 4300 registrations, for their extraordinary efforts to conserve Indiaâs natural habitat and endangered species.
