Good news: Orientation progamme guides youth to join mainstream in Odisha's Naxal-infested Gajapati district

Our good news story is about a 20-day orientation programme called Udaan, which is being conducted in Odisha's Naxal-infested Gajapati district as part of an initiative to ensure the unemployed youth join the mainstream. The youth were given lessons and training for joining Army, para-military and police forces. Around 500 candidates have been enrolled for the programme.
