Good news: Kerala becomes India's first fully digitally literate state

Kerala has become the first state in India to achieve full digital literacy, with a success rate of 99.98%. This achievement was inspired by the success of Pullampara, the first gram panchayat in the country to become fully digitally literate in 2022. A state-sponsored empowerment project trained residents in essential digital skills, including using social media, making online payments, and identifying digital scams. The programme has been embraced by citizens of all ages, from 103-year-old Karunakaran to those nearing 105.
