Days before Bengal goes for the eight-phase assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah today released BJP's Sonar Bangla Sankalp Patra. BJP manifesto promised 33% reservation to women in govt jobs, free education for girl child from KG to PG and promised implementation of CAA in the first cabinet meet among other promises.
Meanwhile, the TMC has termed the BJP manifesto a stunt by outsiders to fool Bengal. Reacting to BJP' manifesto for the Bengal assembly election, TMC MP Derek O'Brien taunted Union Home Minister Amit Shah who released the manifesto.
Derek O'Brien tweeted, "A resident of Gujarat with a resident of Madhya Pradesh by his (right) side, releases a manifesto and then makes a full speech in Hindi to create a #ShonarBangla."
