BJP approaches SC over post-poll violence in Bengal, demands CBI probe

BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia has approached the Supreme Court over the post-poll violence in Bengal and has demanded a CBI probe.

On the day of the election result, the BJP's office in Arambagh was set on fire and there were several reports of violence from other parts of the state also.

Meanwhile, the BJP has announced a nationwide dharna on May 5 against the alleged post-election violence by the Trinamool Congress workers in Bengal.
