State Of War Bengal | Has PM Modi blunted Mamata's 'Khela Hobe' warcry?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee on number of issues on Thursday.

PM Modi while addressing a rally in Bengal's Purulia district said that the TMC’s game was over, and it was time for development. "Didi you played for 10 years. Now, the khela (game) will end and vikaas (development) will begin," Modi said.

PM Modi also said that Didi's ruthless government has formed new race of Maoists who loot poor's money and repeatedly accused the TMC supremo of trying to appease a section of people for vote bank politics.

He said, "People of Bengal have a strong memory. Bengal remembers who accused the army of plotting a coup, whose side you took during the Pulwama attack and the Batla House encounter."
