Stage set for assembly elections: Will people vote for incumbents?

The stage is set for assembly elections in four states and in a Union Territory. West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry will have assembly elections starting from March 27th.

With 824 assembly seats, 270,000 polling stations and close to 187 million voters in these five states -- the country will witness the largest electoral exercise since the Coronavirus pandemic.
