Counting begins for 2019 Maharashtra, Haryana assembly election results

The counting for the 2019 Maharashtra assembly election results and 2019 Haryana assembly election results is underway. The counting of votes for 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra, 90 assembly seats in Haryana began at 8 am. Both Maharashtra and Haryana assembly elections were held on October 21.

The BJP is currently in power in both the states -- Maharashtra and Haryana, while the Congress was in power in both the states only five years ago.

Results of the Maharashtra and Haryana assembly elections are important as they come just five months after the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
