Owaisi's brother threatens cop during Hyderabad rally, BJP reacts

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Akbaruddin Owaisi openly threatened a police inspector when he was asked to complete his rally as per the Model Code of Conduct imposed in view of the November 30 assembly election in Telangana.

In a video tweeted by news agency ANI, Akbaruddin Owaisi, the brother of party chief Asaduddin Owaisi, was seen pointing at his watch while rebuking the inspector.

"Inspector saab, I have a watch. Please go from here," Akbaruddin Owaisi said as he moved from the podium to the side of the stage, gesturing at the police official to move out.

As he took his position on the podium, Akbaruddin Owaisi said nobody could stop him from speaking and asserted if he gave a "signal" to the crowd, they would "run" the police officer away.
