Tamil Nadu Assembly Election 2021 will take part in a single phase in 38 districts of Tamil Nadu. The state will witness a contest between the Congress-DMK combine and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the AIADMK together. The ruling AIADMK's rival Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam concluded a seat-sharing arrangement with actor-turned-politician Vijayakanth-led DMDK and alloted it 60 Assembly constituencies for the April 6 Assembly polls.
