Mandate of great expectations: Amruta Fadnavis on Mahayuti's historic BMC victory

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, hailed BJP-led Mahayuti's historic victory in the BMC elections and said the mandate is a mandate of great expectations

Amruta Fadnavis said, "This mandate is a mandate of great expectations from a common man. And I think they have to really, really strategise and really toil towards the requirements of a common man, a Mumbaikar and also men and women of different cities."

She attributed the success of the Mahayuti alliance to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the hard work of Devendra Fadnavis, whom she described as the "infra man for Maharashtra."  She added that the women and youth have rejected the politics of caste and language in favour of development and transparency.
