KL Sharma takes decisive lead in Amethi, credits Gandhi family, INDIA bloc

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Congress's Amethi candidate Kishori Lal Sharma, who is leading against Union minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani, gave credit to the Gandhi family, people of Amethi, and the INDIA alliance for his performance in the Lok Sabha polls.

According to Election Commission data till 2:20 pm, Kishori Lal Sharma was leading in Amethi Lok Sabha constituency over Union minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani by more than 90,000 votes.
