Elections unlocked: Can Dimple Yadav save Mainpuri? Scindia battles to get Guna back

In this latest episode of 'Elections Unlocked', Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav has decided to join the Lok Sabha bandwagon and will contest from Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh. His wife, Dimple Yadav, will be the nominee from Mainpuri, a seat once held by her father-in-law Mulayam Singh Yadav. Her BJP opponent is Thakur Jaiveer Singh and the million-dollar question is- will Dimple Yadav be able to hold on to her family bastion or not?

On the other hand, Jyotiraditya Scindia, who defected to Congress in 2020, is waging a high-prestige battle to win back Guna, his family citadel, which he lost in 2019. He will be up against Congress's Rao Yadavendra Singh, who recently dumped the BJP and joined the grand old party. Can Scindia get back Guna or will the Congress turncoat spring a surprise?
