The Congress party today announced its second list of 43 candidates for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The list includes leaders from various states, including Assam, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The party emphasised its commitment to social justice and the fight for the rights of the poor. The list reflects the party's vision for a balanced representation with a majority of the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and minority communities. The candidates were announced by the Central Election Committee of the Congress and include Gaurav Gogoi from Assam and sons of Kamal Nath and Ashok Gehlot.Â
