SC issues notice to Rahul Gandhi, seeks explanation on Chowkidar chor hai remark on PM Modi

The Supreme Court on Monday issued a notice to Congress president Rahul Gandhi for his “Chowkidar Chor hai” remarks on PM Modi after the SC ruling on Rafale. The Supreme Court said that Rahul Gandhi’s comment that the court has said "chowkidar chor hai" is wrongly attributed to it.

The Supreme Court has asked Congress to respond to the contempt petition by Monday (April 22). The hearing will take place on Tuesday (April 23).
