Karnataka victory has proved BJP not just a party of Hindi-speaking states: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated BJP leaders in Karnataka for the astounding victory in the Assembly election. The prime minister lauded the strategy and efforts of the BJP workers on the ground.

In his victory speech, he further said, "They said the BJP is a party of Hindi speaking states. Are Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, the northeastern states of Hindi speaking states? No, BJP represents India and our proud diversity."
