The last vote for all but two of 224 Karnataka Assembly seats has been for the single-phased polling conducted today across all 30 districts of the state. India Today-Axis My India conducted an extensive exit poll survey in all 222 Karnataka Assembly constituencies that went to polls. Voting at two constituencies was deferred due to different reasons.
As per the India Today-Axis My India exit poll, the Congress has emerged as the single-largest party in the Karnataka Assembly election. The ruling party is likely to win 106-118 seats with 39 per cent vote share. The Congress had won 122 seats in the last Karnataka Assembly election in 2013.
