Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Sunday that those who attack Kanwariyas (devotees of Lord Shiva) will have to face police bullets.
Addressing a rally in Delhi's Badarpur area ahead of the Assembly election scheduled on February 8, Yogi Adityanath warned those attacking the Kanwariyas, saying "boli se nahi police ki goli se saamna karna padega [If they don't listen to talks, they will have to face the police bullets]".
Yogi Adityanath is the third Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader to give the "goli [bullet]" advice in a rally after Union minister Anurag Thakur and BJP parliamentarian Parvesh Verma.
