'Batenge to Katenge' becomes political flashpoint ahead of Maharashtra polls

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reiterating his 'Batenge to Katenge' slogan has triggered a major political showdown ahead of Maharashtra Assembly polls. While Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge countered Yogi's slogan with 'Dar Gaye To Mar Gaye,' UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that he would rather pitch PM Modi's slogan 'Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas' to the nation.

Meanwhile, Mahayuti alliance partner Ajit Pawar maintained that the 'Batenge to Katenge' slogan won't work in Maharashtra. The state goes to the polls on November 20.
