Delhi riots accused Tahir Hussain granted custody parole to file poll nomination

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday, granted custody parole to Tahir Hussain, a former AAP councillor and AIMIM candidate, to let him file his nomination papers for the Mustafabad Assembly constituency in the upcoming Delhi elections.

Hussain, who is a key accused in the 2020 Northeast Delhi riots, is currently in custody facing multiple charges, including murder, rioting, and money laundering under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
