Addressing a massive rally in Singur, the leader said the crowd’s enthusiasm reflects a new story unfolding in West Bengal. He said people have gathered with a shared hope for real change and a determination to end 15 years of misrule and lawlessness. Referring to Bihar, he said the BJP and NDA restored order there, adding that West Bengal is now ready to end the TMC’s misrule and move toward better governance.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed Assam’s Bodo festival, calling it a memorable experience for him. Sharing his thoughts on social media, he said the celebration showcased India’s rich cultural diversity and was receiving appreciation nationwide.

Modi tweeted, “Bagurumba Dwhou in Guwahati was an experience I’ll always remember The vibrant Bodo culture, over 10,000 people taking part, a splendid laser show and more… Glad to see this programme making waves all over India, with people appreciating the greatness of our culture.”

Addressing a rally in Singur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said West Bengal needs a BJP “double-engine” government to ensure faster development. He claimed that states with BJP governments are seeing effective implementation of central schemes. Citing the Har Ghar Jal Scheme, Modi said the Centre is working to provide piped water to villages nationwide. He highlighted Tripura, where household tap water coverage rose from just 4 percent earlier to about 85 percent under the BJP government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday hit out at the Mamata Banerjee-led Bengal government, saying that it is facilitating infiltration in order to build its own votebank and hamper the national interest. He said that the Trinamool government is not providing land to build a fence along the Bangladesh border, so that the illegals could easily infiltrate into India. The Prime Minister also said that the TMC helped the intruders to make fake ID and Aadhaar cards.

During his rally in Singur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack at the ruling Trinamool Congress, saying the party has blocked several beneficial schemes by the Centre. He added that he is not able to understand as to why the TMC government is behaving like an enemy of the people of the state.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised that the BJP would make policies with the aim of providing a major boost to Hooghly and Bengal's jute trade, facilitating creation of jobs and a push to the state's economy. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it was the BJP who started remembering great sons of Bengal like Raja Rammohan Rai, and Swami Vivekanand by celebrating their birth anniversaries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated, laid the foundation stone for, and flagged off multiple development projects worth over Rs 830 crore at Singur in West Bengal's Hooghly district. The initiatives aim to boost infrastructure, connectivity and economic growth in the region. The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of the Extended Port Gate System at Balagarh, which includes an Inland Water Transport terminal and a Road Over Bridge. These projects are expected to strengthen logistics, promote multimodal transport, enhance trade efficiency and create new employment opportunities, contributing to overall regional development.
