Kerala's youngest AI prodigy urges India to build its own AI innovation race

At the India Today South Conclave 2025, Kerala’s youngest AI prodigy who is 16-year-old, Raul John Aju delivered a strong call for India to create its own path in artificial intelligence.

Explaining AI in simple terms, he said, “AI is just boring maths and data,” but emphasised its power when used to solve daily problems.

He dismissed fears of job losses, saying, “AI will not replace you, but someone using AI,” underlining the need for skills. Sharing his projects like JustEase, aimed at easing legal access, he urged India to invest in research and reimagine education.

Highlighting his journey from building robots to founding AI tools, he encouraged young people to embrace creativity and practical problem-solving.
