The main exam has been postponed, with new dates yet to be announced.

Hundreds of candidates who arrived at the DG Vaishnav College exam centre were reportedly denied entry due to incorrect hall details generated by the system.

The incident led to intense protests outside the venue, forcing TNPSC officials to halt the examinations.

According to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, the error occurred due to an automation fault, which caused the misallocation of exam halls.
