Candidates who appeared for the examination will soon be able to access their response sheets and the official answer key through the JEE Main portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

OBJECTION WINDOW AND KEY DATES

According to official updates, the answer key challenge window will open today, February 4, 2026, and will remain active until February 5, 2026. Traditionally, the objection period is short, lasting only two to three days.

Candidates intending to raise objections must adhere strictly to the prescribed process:

  • Objections can be submitted only through the online challenge portal
  • A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question must be paid online for each challenge
  • Only objections submitted within the deadline and accompanied by the required fee will be reviewed by subject experts.

After evaluating all valid challenges, the NTA will release the final answer key, which will be used to calculate the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 scores.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 was conducted successfully on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2026 at centres across the country.

  • Paper 1 (BE/BTech) was held in two shifts on January 21, 22, 23, and 24.
