Vaccine maker Zydus Cadila's three-dose Covid vaccine ZyCoV-D has got DCGI approval for emergency use authorisation. It is a three-dose, intradermal vaccine, which is applied using a needle-free system, Tropis, which can also lead to a significant reduction in any kind of side effects. For the first time, adolescents in the age bracket of 12 and 18 will take a vaccine shot in India. In an interview with India Today's Sneha Mordani, the Zydus Cadila MD shared the company's plan for trials in children of age group 3-12.
